CANADIAN WINNER must have a valid P.A.L. to enter and win.
Draw date is set of September 20, 2024 at 12pm MT. If all tickets are sold ahead of that date, we reserve the right to hold the draw sooner and will notify everyone ahead of time.
OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. CONTEST PERIOD: The Rifle contest (the “Contest”) starts at 12:00:00 a.m. Mountain Time (MT) on April 20, 2024 and ends on September 8, 2024 at 12:00p.m. MT (the “Contest Period”). The winner must be revealed on or before September 20, 2024 at 11:59:59 p.m. MT (the “Prize Deadline”).
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to all residents of Canada who: (i) have reached the legal age of majority in their province/territory of residence. Employees or directors of CAPRA (the Sponsor) are note eligible to win. Canadian winners need to have a valid and current Possession and Acquisition License as issued by the RCMP and the Canadian Firearms Program.
3. AGREEMENT TO BE LEGALLY BOUND: By participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by: (i) these Rules; (ii) the official Website Terms and Conditions, as applicable; and, (iii) all decisions of the Sponsor which are final in all respects.
4. HOW TO PLAY: During the Contest Period, for each purchased CAPRA Sticker the entrant will receive One (1) entry into the draw to win the Prize. No purchase is required to win. Must be 18 years of age and over to participate. Quebec residents are allowed to participate in the draw, but may be required to claim the prize in another province. To enter without purchase please send a hand-written 1,000 word essay to CAPRA (mail it to at address in footer of website) on the topic of “Why Shooting Sports are Important to You”.
5. PRIZE
The Prize is a rifle as described in this page.
Shipping of the Prize to the Winner will be paid for by the Sponsor, but the Winner is liable for any and all taxes, duties, or brokerage fees (as applicable in their jurisdiction).
6. WINNER CONFIRMATION AND CLAIMING THE PRIZE
The Sponsor will notify the Winner of the draw by email and telephone, and will attempt do to so on 5 separate occasions. If the prize remains unclaimed, the Sponsor reserves the right to re-draw after 48 hours of the Prize Deadline. If the Prize is claimed the contest is officially over.
